David & Ranell Bond - Lead Pastors

We were college sweethearts meeting at Barclay College in Haviland, Kansas. Right from college we went into ministry. We served marriages and family for 17 years, before we felt God was telling us to plant Compel Church.

We’ve been married 27 years and have been raising our family, our greatest joy! We have 4 amazing children. David is bi-vocational so through the week you’ll find him in the dental lab or on the soccer field coaching for our local high school. We love serving our church & community.

As adoptive parents to one of our 4 (we have forgotten which one 😉) we feel very strongly we CANNOT look away from the 163 million orphans in the world, but only look for ways to help bring an orphan from hope to home.

With our hearts for the orphans and David being a 5x Ironman & multiple marathoner, we put these two passions together and Hope4.5k was founded!  We hold an annual Orphan Run in our city for a family who is currently in the adoption process. Feel free to go check it out!
